The Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, which is around 60 kilometers away from the city of Puri, is now the closest airport. Tourists can take private taxis from the list of top vehicle rental businesses in Bhubaneswar until Puri after landing at the airport. As an alternative, they can go to the Bhubaneswar Railway Station to board a train bound for Puri or go to the bus stop outside the railway station to board a bus for Puri.
